Amid the layoffs in the FaZe clan, its founder Richard “Banks” made a post on X calling the move a "reboot". In the post, Richard also mentioned the recent video made by Lucas “Blaze”, who had thanked the former for picking him to be a member of the organization. The members laid off in the recent move by FaZe include Blaze, Booya, Cbass, Cizzorz, Faxuty, and Flea, among others.

Stating that the negative reactions regarding the layoffs were originating from "clout chasing rats", he stated:

"F**k em all. Couldn’t of said it better myself. What does it say about how Blaze reacted vs. how some of these random little clout chasing rats are reacting. We didn’t even recruit you, some f**king weirdo did. SEE YA B**CH, this a reboot"

"Everyone else is out" - FaZe Banks shares list of members remaining on the clan roster amid recent layoffs

Richard also made a post on X sharing the complete list of remaining members within the organization. These major steps have been taken following the merger of the FaZe clan and GameSquare, with the former becoming a wholly owned and independent subsidiary of the latter. He revealed that he originally planned to cut the number of total employees down to 10, with him already having cut over 110 members as part of the rebrand at the start of April 2024.

This change also included Richard having become the CEO of the organization, following which he revealed his plans to rebrand and restructure the clan. Along with the list of remaining members, Richard included a simple message stating:

"Everyone else is out. That is the roster."

On the other side, many of the creators who have been removed from the organization have also responded to the move. They expressed their gratitude to Richard for the opportunities that they had attained due to being a part of the clan while looking forward to the next chapter in their careers.

Following his being let go, former FaZe member Lucas "Blaze" revealed in a YouTube video that he had known that he would be "kicked" out from the clan two months before it happened. Furthermore, on the same day, he received news about his chocolate brand "Charged" being picked up for an exclusive sale deal for six months by the retail giant, Walmart.
