Josh Allen honors 14-year-old Bills fan killed in car accident with heartwarming gesture

AFC Divisional Playoffs - Kansas City Chiefs v Buffalo Bills
Josh Allen had a great gesture with a member of the community

Josh Allen is a symbol to the city of Buffalo, and with good reason. The Buffalo Bills quarterback has always proven himself to be not only a great quarterback, but also a great guy that genuinely cares about the community. And he has proven this again.

A tragic car accident took the life of a 14-year-old Bills fan. His father decided to put his Bills jersey in his casket, but after the funeral, he decided to ask on Twitter for a new jersey, signed by Josh Allen, to keep something to remember his child.

The Bills' social media team reached for the father, named Mike, and a few days later, a jersey signed by the quarterback was delivered to the father's house. He was moved by the gesture, while Buffalo's social media team also sent him a heartwarming note regarding the passing of his son.

Josh Allen's personal life

Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the league with a six-year, $258 million contract. He is a University of Wyoming alumnus, majoring in social science.

He previously had a relationship with Brittany Williams. The pair were never married, even though their relationship lasted six years. Brittany Williams is a pilates instructor with her own online platform named Pilates By Britt, apart from also being a fashion influencer.

It's unclear when they split, but the quarterback has been with Hailee Steinfeld for a while. They have been spotted together for the first time a couple of years ago, and they appear together everywhere in public now.

Improvement needed for Josh Allen, Bills in 2024

The Bills have developed a worrying trend in the second half of last season: the lack of efficiency in the red zone. Their levels started the year nicely, with 68.5% of the trips to the 20-yard line ending with touchdowns, but this number plummeted to 54.5% in the second half of the year.

Some of this, of course, is due to the lack of red-zone targets on the roster. But the situation isn't going to become any easier now that Stefon Diggs was traded. We'll see if Keon Coleman changes anything for the Bills.
