After an impressive sophomore campaign, the Belgian point guard continued to excel, averaging 20.0 points, four rebounds, four assists, and 1.2 steals in his junior year. Notably, his shooting efficiency improved, reaching a career-high 39.3% from beyond the arc and 85.8% from the free-throw line.


In his junior year, Mitchell's usage percentage stood at 31.1%, placing him among the top 20 players in the NCAA for the 2023/24 season. This statistic underscores his significant involvement in various offensive actions, including shooting, scoring, and earning trips to the free-throw line. Throughout his career, he averaged 5.2 free-throw attempts and maintained an 81.8% shooting accuracy from the free-throw line.
