Caleb Martin is a professional basketball player who has become a key contributor to the roster of the Miami Heat. After going undrafted in 2019 out of Nevada, Martin had to grind his way up from a two-way contract to eventually earning a standard NBA deal and carving out a role in Miami's rotation.

Martin played collegiate basketball at North Carolina State before transferring with his twin brother Cody to Nevada for his final college season. He averaged 18.9 points per game as a senior, earning All-Mountain West First Team honors.

In 2021, Martin joined the Miami Heat on a two-way deal. The Heat only converted Martin to a standard contract in February 2022, but he had already become a regular in their rotation.

Martin provided a huge spark off the bench during the Heat's playoff run last season. He averaged 12.7 points while shooting nearly 53 per cent from the field over 23 postseason games. His outstanding performance led the team to the Conference Finals, and the team made a comeback from 3-2 against the Boston Celtics.

Even if Martin's scoring is inconsistent, his playoff history suggests he could be an impact player again when the stakes are highest.

Caleb Martin Height

At 6 feet 5 inches tall, Martin uses his size well on both ends of the court. His height allows him to play in various positions. The towering height also helps him to finish strong at the rim and grab rebounds. Also, his height gives him a positive approach in the defense to grab rebounds and block the shots to the basket.

Caleb Martin Wingspan

Martin has a wingspan of 6 feet 10 inches. His long arms allow him to play bigger than his height. It helps him grab rebounds in traffic and get his shot off over defenders. He uses his wingspan well on defense too, able to disrupt passing lanes and contest shots. Martin's near 7-foot wingspan gives him an edge on both ends of the court.

Caleb Martin Weight

Martin weighs 92 kilograms (203 pounds). The added weight and strength over his early career years have served him well, making him more durable and allowing him to bang in the paint. He uses his solid frame to play tough defense and overpower opponents. It also helps Martin fight for rebounds and position down low. His strength and willingness to mix it up inside mesh nicely with the Heat’s physical style of play.
