He led his school’s team to the ESPN RISE National High School Invitational Championship in 2009. In this championship, they defeated Oak Hill Academy. This championship really caught the attention of the viewers and increased Cory’s demand.


After playing for Findley Prep, Cory enrolled at the University of Texas in 2010. As a fresher, he led his college’s basketball team to several championships. Cory scored a season-high 21 points in a game over North Carolina on December 18. After the successful finish of the regular season, he decided to leave the college and entered the 2011 NBA draft.


NBA Career

Cory Joseph started out his NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs. This team picked him in the 2011 NBA draft as the 29th overall pick on June 23. Thereafter, he went on to play with this team and really had a great time with this NBA group. In 2015, Cory joined the Toronto Raptors on July 5. He signed a four-year contract with this team and played there till July 2017, when this team traded him to the Indiana Pacers on July 14, 2017.


After spending two seasons with the Indiana Pacers, Cory signed with the Sacramento Kings on July 6, 2019. He continuously led the team to several matches and guided them to reach greater heights. On March 26, 2021, Cory was traded to the Detroit Pistons. He played with this team till July 2023, when he joined the Golden State Warriors. Cory is now rocking with the Golden State Warriors on the basketball court.
