Delon Wright is an American combo guard playing for the Milwaukee Bucks, as of December 2024. At 6 feet 5 inches, Wright primarily plays point guard but can also play as a shooting guard. Born in Los Angeles, California, Delon Wright first showcased his talent when he led Leuzinger High School to a California state championship. He was named CIF Southern Section Division 1A Player of the Year. Wright began his college career at the Community College of San Francisco (2011–2013) before transferring to the University of Utah, where he played from 2013 to 2015. He had a stellar collegiate career playing for the Runnin’ Utes as he won the prestigious Bob Cousy Award in 2015, given to the nation’s top male point guard. Wright was also named First-team All-Pac-12 honors twice, in 2014 and 2015, and was named to the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team both years.

In the 2015 NBA Draft, Delon Wright was selected in the first round with the 20th overall pick by the Toronto Raptors. He played for the Raptors from 2015 to 2019, serving primarily as a backup to Kyle Lowry. Since 2019, Delon Wright has embraced the role of a valuable bench guard who offers solid ball-handling and defense across multiple NBA teams. His NBA career has included stints with the Memphis Grizzlies (2019), Dallas Mavericks (2019–2020), Detroit Pistons (2020–2021), Sacramento Kings (2021), Atlanta Hawks (2021–2022), Washington Wizards (2022–2024), and Miami Heat (2024). For 2024-25, Wright joined the Milwaukee Bucks, continuing to bring his defensive prowess and playmaking abilities to the team.
