Jaden Springer plays for the Utah Jazz as a combo guard as of April 2025. The versatile combo guard hails from Charlotte, North Carolina. Springer played two seasons of high school basketball at the Rocky River High School in Mint Hill, North Carolina, where he was named Southwestern 4A Player of the Year. He then played junior and senior years at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He averaged 17.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game for IMG in the senior season.

Then, Springer played for the University of Tennessee in the 2020-2021 season, where he was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team. After a solid one-and-done campaign, Springer decided to join the NBA and declared for the draft. He was eventually drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 28th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Since joining the NBA, Springer has played in the NBA G League as well, where he has won the NBA G League title for Delaware Blue Coats and also won G League Finals MVP in 2023. He averaged 19 points with 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists with shooting splits of 49.1% from the field and 31.9% from the three-point line.

Jaden Springer was primarily a bench player who was the 12th man on the roster and mainly played during garbage time in a few playoff games. In the first round against the Miami Heat, Springer recorded several DNPs (Did Not Play), but he did get a chance to showcase his talent in Game 5 of the series when Springer scored 2 points on 1/1 FG in 8 minutes of action.

Later in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jaden Springer played approximately 5 minutes in Game 2 when the Celtics were losing by almost 25 points late in the fourth quarter. Similarly, Springer got to play for just 1 minute in Game 3. In the 2024 NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks, Jaden Springer got to play in Game 4 as the Mavericks had a massive 40 points in the fourth quarter. This time, Springer again received 8 minutes of garbage time action in which he missed one field goal attempt that he took and grabbed a couple of rebounds.
