How tall is Kelly Oubre Jr.?

Last Modified Nov 19, 2023 21:18 GMT

Kelly Oubre is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Philadelphia 76ers. He is one of the best role players in the NBA today. He can do a little bit of everything on both offensive and the defensive end. Oubre has always been a decent scorer and can provide a spark off the bench that many teams need in the NBA. He is a talented player who at times has shown flashes of brilliance. He can shoot the three ball, can rebound at a decent clip, and is a good on-the-ball defender.

While Oubre may not become a superstar in the near future, he most certainly can help championship-contending teams. He has been on five different teams so far in his career. He spent 3 and a half seasons with the Washington Wizards, one and a half seasons with the Suns, a single season with the Warriors, two seasons with the Hornets, and is now playing for the 76ers.

Oubre averaged 20.3 points per game with the Charlotte Hornets last season. While his efficiency was not the best, it was respectable with 43.1 per cent from the field. This season Oubre is averaging 16.3 points per game while shooting at a career-best, 50 per cent, from the field and 37.8 per cent from the three-point line. Even though he has been playing his best brand of basketball with the 76ers, the recent car accident that Oubre suffered has him out indefinitely.

Everyone is praying for Oubre’s quick recovery but something very strange has been developing in the past few days. Police say that they are unable to find a video that shows the car accident but TMZ recently posted a video showing a clip that was caught minutes after his car accident. The situation is currently unclear but we all hope Oubre can get back to the court soon enough because he is having the best season of his career.

Kelly Oubre’s Height

Oubre is listed at 6 feet 7 inches tall. He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks as the 15th overall pick but was immediately traded to the Washington Wizards.

Oubre has really stepped up defensively this year. He is stepping up to the challenge and is guarding the best offensive players on a daily basis. He is making shots, grabbing offensive boards, and is hustling for loose balls by diving on the floor. These small little contributions are helping the 76ers rack up wins. The 76ers are currently 2nd in the Eastern Conference behind the Boston Celtics and Oubre is a huge part of the early success that they have had.

Kelly Oubre’s Position

Oubre is a small forward/shooting guard who plays for the Philadelphia 76ers. He went from playing for a team that is almost at the bottom of the Eastern Conference every year to a championship-contending team. The pressure playing for the Sixers is tremendous but he is determined to show the world what he can do. Oubre also said “I’ve come from teams where they have no hope, Like, zero hope within the whole city. This is not that at all. I appreciate this fan base for being so hard on the team and wanting to see greatness because they deserve it.” Via FanNation.

With the emergence of Tyrese Maxey, reigning MVP Joel Embid, and Kelly Oubre having a terrific season, the 76ers could be the biggest threat to other contenders in the Eastern Conference like the Bucks and Celtics.
