Matas Arvidas Buzelis is a promising basketball talent who plays for the NBA G League team, Ignite. 6 foot 10 in height, this small forward is best known for accurate shooting and athleticism.

This 19-year-old basketball player is one of the top NBA Draft prospects in the 2024 NBA draft. Buzelis earned so much recognition in his early college career that he became the New Hampshire Gatorade Player of the Year title as a junior. Additionally, Buzelis was chosen to play for Team World in the 2022 Nike Hoops Summit. For his excellent college career, Buzelis became one of the top 10 players in the 2023 class.

Buzelis is one of the best two-way players in his draft class, capable of significantly impacting both the defensive and offensive sides of the game. His experience in the NBA G League equips him to contribute immediately upon being recruited by an NBA team. Kristina Jankauskaitė and Aidas Buzelis are the parents of Matas Buzelis. Buzelis' parents are former athletes from Lithuania, both having played professionally in their respective sports, before immigrating to the United States and settling in Chicago. Aidas’s father, who is also Matas's grandfather, was a legendary basketball player in Lithuania, winning many trophies for the nation. He played for the team Zalgiris Kaunas.

After his playing career, he also worked as a massage therapist for the Lithuania men's national basketball team.
