Michael Malone, mostly known as Mike Malone, is the head coach of the Denver Nuggets. Last season, Malone helped the Nuggets win their first championship in franchise history. Under his leadership, Nikola Jokic has won the league MVP twice, and he also won the Finals MVP last season.

In the Western Conference Finals last season, the Nuggets swept LeBron James and the LA Lakers, and reached the NBA Finals for the first time in their history. In the Finals, they defeated Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in five games.
