Trayce Jackson-Davis is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Golden State Warriors. At 6 foot 9, he can play both as a forward and center. Jackson-Davis grew up in a basketball family, as his father, Dale Davis, played in the NBA for several years primarily with the Indiana Pacers.

“TJD” in his rookie season, impressed everybody with his dominant play in the paint, showcasing exceptional athleticism, rebounding, shot-blocking and scoring ability. He was 24th in blocks in the 2023/24 season, with 77 shots blocked. The Warriors have to be delighted with his performances, as he was the 57th pick in the NBA Draft for whom they traded.

Before the NBA, Jackson-Davis drew attention from college basketball programs across the country, and chose to attend Indiana University. His decision was influenced by his father's ties to the state of Indiana. He quickly made an impact at Indiana, becoming a key player for the team.

Over four seasons of college ball, Jackson-Davis won the Karl Malone award for being the best power forward in the country in 2023. He was also named on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2020, twice on the Big Ten All-Defensive Team and the First-team All-Big Ten in 2023.

Trayce Jackson-Davis was drafted by the Washington Wizards with the 57th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. However, his draft rights were later traded to the Golden State Warriors. Jackson-Davis had a successful college career, scoring more than 2200 points for the Hoosiers. He is one of three players in Indiana history to ever record a triple-double.

Jackson-Davis played in 126 games in college and his defensive prowess in the 2022/23 season earned him consensus First team All-American, leading the Big-Ten in blocks with 92. He averaged 17.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.1 blocks per game in college.
