Ausar Thompson is a professional basketball player for the City Reapers of Overtime Elite. He is a two-time Overtime Elite champion and he also picked up the Finals MVP award (x2) which is typically given to the best player in the finals Match-up. Thompson is a former 5-star recruit coming out of Pine Crest high school and is a top 10 projected pick in the 2023 NBA draft.

He also has an identical twin named Amen Thompson. The twins have always played together and have dominated every competition they’ve faced. Both the twins are extremely talented and are ready to take their talent to the next level.

Ausar Thompson played two seasons in the Overtime Elite League.

In the 2021–22 season, Ausar Thompson played for Team Elite which is one of three teams in the Overtime Elite, and averaged 14.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.2 blocks per game. He led team Elite to the Finals and won the Finals MVP award. Ausar had a double- double in the finals game with 20 points and 11 boards.

In the 2022-23 season, Ausar stepped up to another level and he significantly improved his playmaking on the court. He had a record, 12 assists, in one of the games he played and eventually went on to win the league MVP trophy. He was this year’s best player on the Overtime Elite. Ausar averaged 16.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 2.4 steals per game this season. Thompson went on to also win the finals MVP trophy as he came up clutch and scored a game winner against YNG dreamers in the finals.
