He was born in Riverside, California, United States on October 13, 2001, to Cornelius Clark and Denita Clark, according to the UCLA Bruins' website. He was drafted as the 53rd overall pick by the Timberwolves in the second round of the 2023 NBA draft.

After signing a two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves on July 7, 2023, Clark was transferred by the Timberwolves to NBA G League team Iowa Wolves on March 28, 2024, for rehabilitation following his Achilles tear. After returning, Clark played in 40 games and averaged 4.1 points, 1.3 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 assists per contest for the Timberwolves in the 2024-25 regular season.
