Jaylen Clark is an American shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He initially studied at Centennial High School and then transferred to Etiwanda High School for his final year of his prep career. Later on, Clark signed a letter of intent, committing him to University of California, Los Angeles from 2020, as per the official NBA website.

Clark received major accolades, including the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year, NABC Defensive Player of the Year, and Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, while playing for the UCLA Bruins from 2020 to 2023. He was drafted as the 53rd overall pick by the Timberwolves in the second round of the 2023 NBA draft. After spending time with the Iowa Wolves in the NBA G League, he signed a two-year deal with the Timberwolves in February 2025.
