Tillman Sr. is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Boston Celtics as of March 2025. He declared for the NBA draft in 2020, where he was picked as the 35th pick in the second round of the 2020 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings and then traded to the Memphis Grizzlies on the draft night. Tillman Sr. played soccer, basketball, and baseball in his early years but then decided to go professional in basketball as he was 6 feet 5 inches at 14 years old.

Tillman Sr. played for Forest Hills Central in Michigan during his high school years, and as a sophomore, he averaged 15.5 points and 9.7 rebounds, leading his team to the semis with a 23-1 record. His decision to transfer to Grand Rapids Christian High School caused a rift between his parents as they stood divided. Tillman Sr. led his team to the Class A State Championship game. He was also named a finalist for Mr. Basketball of Michigan. He was named to the second-team All-Big Ten and was the Big Ten DPOY.
