Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders went all out for the program's 2024 Spring game. Apart from watching his new revamped team perform on the gridiron, Coach Prime also made arrangements for some entertainment, with rapper Lil Wayne hosting an after-party concert for the crowd.

Apart from Lil Wayne, another notable athlete made his way to the 2024 spring game to showcase his support for Deion Sanders and his team. In a recent Instagram post, the 56-year-old head coach posted his wholesome interaction with professional boxer Ryan Garcia, who made his way to Boulder for the 2024 spring game.

In the video shared on Instagram, Ryan Garcia is being welcomed by Coach Prime. Garcia then goes on to display some shadow-boxing moves while teaching the Colorado head coach a few tricks before embracing each other. Sanders accompanied the post with a caption that read:

"I'm so darn proud of you and your Jesus @kingryan We Believe! #CoachPrime"

After arriving from Jackson State last season, Deion Sanders finished his debut Colorado campaign with a 4-8 overall season. Unsatisfied with the results, Coach Prime utilized the offseason to completely revamp the team, especially his offensive line.

One of the main weaknesses of Coach Prime's team last season was the offensive line's inability to protect their quarterback Shedeur Sanders on the field. This led to Shedeur being the most-sacked quarterback during the 2023 season (52 times).

But with the newly revamped offensive line and roster, Deion Sanders is looking forward to a successful season in his debut campaign as a member of the Big 12 conference this year.

Deion Sanders opens up about preparations for the 2024 season

While appearing for an interview on the "All the Smoke" podcast, Coach Prime came forward to talk about all the preparations he's been making at Boulder to overcome their 4-8 debut. He talked about how he brought in NFL-experienced coaches to his staff and how it would give them an edge in the competition.

"We started with the offensive and defensive coordinator. We're pros man. I went out and got some pros man, my offensive coordinator, my defensive coordinator and several physicians. In college ball, we get 10 hired positions plus the coach it's 11. Seven of the ten come from the NFL, we've got NFL experience."

The Buffs were successful in retaining former Broncos OC Pat Shurmur for another season with the program. He will be taking over the role of offensive coordinator in Boulder this season.

Apart from this, Deion Sanders also brought in former Bengals secondary coach Robert Livingston as the defensive coordinator.

With this help, will the Buffs be in the conversation for a playoff spot this upcoming season?
