It was always going to be a tough run chase for Prague CC Kings but with Sudesh Wickramasekara coming out all guns blazing, the Kings had valid reason to believe that they were in the game. Wickramasekara pounded the attack all around the park despite minimal support from the other end and ensured that the Kings stayed on par with the asking rate throughout the Powerplay.

However, Taranjeet Singh came into the attack and chipped away with a couple of wickets at the other end. The wicket of Wickramasekara turned out to be the telling blow though as he holed out to Vasu Saini and thereafter, the ordeal got tougher with each passing over.

A couple of moments of harakiri certainly didn't help the Kings' cause either owing to a couple of run outs and with the asking rate climbing at the rate of knots, the result was a foregone conclusion. All in all, it was another professional display from Cluj who have made it two wins out of three now, sending a strong message to the rest of Group C that they are here for the crown.

A second loss though for the Kings and needless to say, they have certain uncut ends to polish and iron out soon enough with the competition set to heat up in the coming days.

Some quick runs coming in that final over but alas, it was never going to be enough for the Kings. Cluj beat Prague CC Kings by 17 runs.
