02:01 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Jinder cuts Orton's celebration short with what initially looks like a promo but turns out to be a distraction for the Singh Brothers to ambush the champ. Orton gets the better of the brothers and then sets them up for a double DDT but is stopped by Jinder. The three men overpower Orton and Jinder slams him with the Cobra Clutch to end the show, standing tall.

01:58 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Orton sends Corbin out of the ring but the Lone Wolf boomerangs back into it and straight into an RKO.

Randy Orton wins.

01:57 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Corbin sets up the Deep Six but Orton fights out of it with elbows. Orton gets out in time as Corbin charges toward him, which sends Baron crashing into the post. A cross body slam and a DDT has Orton slamming the mat, waiting to strike. However, Corbin sees its coming and counters with a Deep Six.

01:54 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Randy tries to fight back with a few right hands, slips the clotheslines but then eats a boot. Corbin then whips off the ropes and clocks Orton with a hard right.

01:52 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Corbin stomps to establish control but a headbutt gives Orton some space.

01:47 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Orton regains control but is sent crashing to mat after Corbin runs out of the ring and slingshots back into the ring.

01:46 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Randy Orton vs. Baron Corbin:

Shoves and headlocks began tonight's main event, as Orton slams Corbin twice in a row and smirks. An eye gouge gives Corbin control and a clothesline underlines it.

01:38 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

01:35 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Zayn is then interviewed backstage and he announces that his match with Corbin has been made official for Backlash. Predictably, as Zayn drones on about Corbin and his mentality, he is attacked by the Lone Wolf. Will WWE ever change things?

01:33 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Ziggler shows us a package of his accomplishments and tells us that he wants to spit on the face of the fans who deserted him by beating Nakamura.

Naomi jumps onto the ropes and lands a kick as Carmella chases after her. After a kick on the apron, Naomi takes to the ropes and is stopped by Natalya and Tamina. The Welcoming committee is sent backstage by the ref but confront Charlotte and Lynch on their way out. Naomi slams Tamina with a hard kick but that distracts her for just enough time for Carmella to roll her up for the three-count.

Carmella wins.

01:21 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Naomi goes after Carmella's knee as the shrieks continue. Naomi slams Carmella hard enough for her to roll out of the ring. Carmella teases walking out but connects with a side kick to the face when Naomi chases her. Carmella takes the action back to the ring and slams Naomi in the corner.

01:17 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

01:16 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Noami attempts a slam but is stopped by Carmella who takes out the champ's knee. However, Namoi regains control and then whips Carmella off the ropes to set her up for the rear-view but Ellsworth comes to the Princess' rescue, which gets him thrown out of ring-side.

01:14 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Naomi vs. Carmella:

Naomi unloads right hands and a huge slam. The champion seems in total control as she connects with a drop kick on the apron. She then chooses to go after Carmella's arm and transitions into a headlock.

01:09 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Ellsworth tells the three woman they don't stand a shot and things go slightly overboard when he tells Naomi that Carmella is going to take her title. Predictably, Shane books Naomi and Carmella in a match which will be up next.

Where is Asuka? Why don't they call her up to the main roster to end this snooze fest?

01:06 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Natalya opens with the word 'bff' and accuses her opponents of faking camaraderie. This segment is panning out exactly as I imagined. Time for a bathroom break as each woman takes the pen says something cringe-worthy and signs the contract. The blue brand seems to have broken Charlotte too judging by her weird awkward promo.

00:59 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Shane calls out the welcoming committee and their opponents.

00:58 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Shane O Mac takes to the ring to begin what I'm sure will be a lukewarm segment at best. I hope I'm wrong.

00:53 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

The Usos come out to congratulate their opponents for Sunday and welcome them to the Uso Penitentiary. A few cringy puns based on the bill of rights finishes their disappointing promo after which we are shown Charlotte, Naomi and Lynch strutting backstage. Maybe I was wrong about things getting better soon.

00:50 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Primo continues to dominate, flinging Breeze from corner to corner until a drop kick creates enough space for Breeze to tag Fandango in. Fandango clears house and hits the Falcon Arrow to grab the victory.

Breezango win.

00:48 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Breezango vs. The Colons:

Breeze is hurled against the ring post after an initial spell of dominance, while JBL informs us that today is the Godfather's birthday.

00:44 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

The Viper tells Renee that people hate Jinder because he's an ass, followed by which Breezango make their entrance.

00:42 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

After fantastic opening vignette two weeks prior and a really bad one last week we get yet another episode of Fashion Police. A few weird jokes and an existential crisis made for a weird segment that ends with the duo hyping themselves for Backlash and a freeze-frame. Is it just me or are these getting worse by the week?

00:38 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

We have the contract signing for the 6-woman tag match later this night too. I have a feeling things are going to get a little worse before they get better after that questionable finish.

00:35 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

00:34 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

00:33 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Styles attempts the phenomenal forearm but the Singh Brothers get involved enough to distract AJ and KO hits his knee with his title. A Cobra Clutch slam seals the victory for Jinder.

Jinder wins

How do you hurt someone by just grazing the title against his knee? And why doesn't everyone do this all the time?

00:30 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

A pele kick out of nowhere gives AJ control, which he cements with a baseball slide as Jinder is outside the ring.

00:29 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

AJ takes out Mahal's knee and springboards off the ropes to connect with a forearm. However, Mahal's sheer power prevails as he spears him in the corner and then slams a boot home as AJ tries to fight back.

00:27 (GMT)17 MAY 2017

Jinder places AJ on the top rope and attempts a move. However, AJ gets out just in time and then eats a boot.
