Ben Sinnott

Ben Sinnott, a tight end for the Washington Commanders, was selected at the 2024 NFL Draft as the #53 pick in the second round. After being drafted, as per the Washington Commanders website, the reason why Sinnott liked Commanders is that he easily connected with the tight ends coach, David Raih; further, the team has had an eye for him since the Senior Bowl as per the Commanders website. Born on June 14, 2002, the Iowa native went to Columbus High School; however, he played tennis, hockey, track and golf along with football.

In 2020, Sinnott opted for Kansas State University. However, he originally chose the University of South Dakota but later changed. He redshirted his first season but was named for the first-team All-Big 12 Conference in his sophomore and junior seasons in 2022 and 2023. One of the most productive tight ends in program history, he finished his career with 1,138 yards and 10 touchdowns, tying the record for the most receiving touchdowns as a tight end.
