Bijan Robinson is a professional American football running back for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL, as of 2024. Robinson was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the 2023 NFL with the eighth overall pick. In his first game in the NFL, against the Carolina Panthers, Robinson made six receptions for 27 yards and scored his first touchdown. Robinson completed 16 games as a starter in his first year and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.
Robinson decided to play collegiate football at the University of Texas. By the end of his rookie season, he has four rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns. For the 2021 season, he was selected to the first team All-Big-12 Conference. The following season, he was named the nation's best running back and received the Doak Walker Award. Before entering college, Robinson studied at Salpointe Catholic High School. At Salpointe, he broke the state record and set a new one by recording 7,036 yards along with 114 touchdowns made.
