American football running back Breece Maelik Hall plays for the New York Jets as of the 2024 NFL season. He was drafted in the second round (36th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. Hall started two of the seven games he appeared in, in his rookie year. He became a starter in the 2023 season, starting 16 games of the regular season. Hall led the league with the longest rushing attempt (83 yards) in the 2023 season. In his first two seasons in the NFL, Hall has appeared in 24 games having 303 rushing attempts for 1,457 rushing yards. Hall committed to Iowa State University in 2019. In his three seasons in college, he appeared in 36 games having 718 attempts for 3,941 yards. He was also named Gary Thompson Iowa State Male Athlete of the Year (2022) and Two-Time Consensus All-American (2020, 2021).
