In 2018, McCaffrey had 50 yards rushing, 50 yards passing, and 50 yards receiving, joining Walter Payton in NFL history to do the same thing he did. In 2019, McCaffrey joined Roger Craig, and Marshall Faulk as the only three players in NFL history to have 1000-plus receiving and rushing yards in a single season.

McCaffrey clocked his 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds which was ranked at the 77th percentile. He was tied for fourth-best in his position. Meanwhile, he recorded his 3-cone drill and 60-yard shuttle at 6.57 seconds and 11.03 seconds respectively. He had an impressive Combine and was drafted as the eighth overall pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft.
