Dallas Turner played his college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide and was the Linebacker for the team. He started his college football career in 2021 and played for three seasons before declaring for the 2024 NFL draft. Turner is one of the best defensive prospects coming into the draft and is a force on the defensive side of the field.

Born on February 2, 2003, Turner initially attended American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida. He spent his junior year with them and was named the area Defensive Player of the Year by the Sun-Sentinel. Later, Turner transferred to St. Thomas Aquinas High School and was a five-star recruit coming out of high school. He committed to play his college football for Alabama over other programs such as Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and Oklahoma.

Turner started his college football career in 2021 with the Crimson Tide and he had 14 solo tackles, and 16 assisted tackles, leading up to 30 total tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, a stellar 8.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery. Some freshmen take some time to start producing but not him. In Turner’s sophomore season with Alabama, his numbers improved as he recorded 37 total tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, and a fumble recovery return touchdown. In his final season with the Crimson Tide, Turner cemented his status as an elite linebacker as he had 53 total tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks, and two fumbles forced.

For his efforts in 2023, Turner was named to the First-team All-SEC in 2023, he was also SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 (Dallas Turner and Nathaniel Watson), and was a Consensus All-American in 2023. Turner was also named to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) All-Freshman team in 2021.
