Drew Christopher Brees is a decorated former quarterback who played 20 long years in the NFL. The 32nd overall pick from round 2 started his career with the San Diego Chargers (now Los Angeles Chargers) in 2001, where he played for five years before finishing an outstanding 15-year career with the New Orleans Saints. Brees set the records in passing yards (78,422) and touchdowns (555), which were later surpassed by Tom Brady. He led the league in passing yards 7 different times while also making it to the Pro Bowl on 13 different occasions. The two-time NFL Offensive Player of the Year and four-time passing touchdowns leader was inducted into the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame on 17th October 2024.

Brees was a multi-talented athlete in his younger days. He dabbled in baseball, basketball, and football during high school and secured a record-breaking win for his high school football team, the Austin Westlakes followed by a state championship.
