Jake Daniel Elliott is an American football placekicker for the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2024 NFL season. The Bengals drafted him with the 153rd overall pick in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Elliott became a Super Bowl champion in his rookie year when the Eagles beat the New England Patriots in 2017. He led the league for Extra Points made (51) and attempted (53) in the 2022 season. As of January 2025, Elliot’s career-high numbers came in the 2023 season when he completed 30 of the 32 field goals, as per Pro Football Reference.

Elliott was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017. However, the Bengals waived Elliott after kicker Randy Bullock was preferred over him. Following the sequence, Elliott took a trade to the Philadelphia Eagles signing a two-year contract. Elliott has been serving the Eagles as a starter and received Pro Bowl (2021) and Second Team All-Pro (2023) once, as of January 2025. Elliott started his football career at Lyons Township High School after focusing on tennis initially. He was named the First-Team All-State in Illinois for his contributions as a senior (official website of the University of Memphis).

Jake Elliott attended the University of Memphis playing for the Tigers from 2013 to 2016. In his freshman year as he completed 16 of the 18 attempted field goals that year. He set a school record for points by a freshman kicker (72). Elliott also set a Memphis record by scoring a 56-yard field goal, as per Memphis Tigers' official website.

Elliot owns the record for most points scored for his school, with 445 (202 PAT/81 FG). In his collegiate career, Elliott appeared in 51 games over four seasons making 81 of the 104 attempts as a four-year starter at kicker. His highest accuracy came in his freshman year as he completed 88.89% of his field goals, as per Sports Reference.
