JuJu Smith-Schuster is a professional American footballer who plays in the NFL as a wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs. His professional career in the NFL began in the year 2017 when he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL draft of 2017. After being selected by the Steelers, Smith-Schuster signed a four-year deal with them worth $4.1 million. Smith-Schuster has been named as the Polynesian Pro Football Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018. In the 2018 season, Smith-Schuster was selected for his first Pro Bowl. In 2021 Smith-Schuster signed a new contract extension deal for one year with the Pittsburgh Steelers worth $8 million. In 2022 he signed a new deal with the Kansas City Chiefs for one year worth $3.7 million and played only one lone season with the organization.

In 2023 Smith-Schuster signed a new deal with the New England Patriots for three years worth $25.5 million as per Spotrac. He played in 11 games for the Patriots and made 29 receptions for 260 yards before signing a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024. As of January 2025, he has recorded 448 receptions for 5,279 yards to go along with 32 receiving touchdowns. Before his professional career, Smith-Schuster played collegiately for the USC Trojans and amassed more than 3,000 yards in three years. He also attended the Long Beach Polytechnic High School where he was rated a five-star recruit as per 247Sports.
