Kirk Cousins has 1 win and 3 losses in his postseason career as of December 2024.

Kirk Daniel Cousins, commonly known as Kirk Cousins is an American football quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons as of 2024. The 13-year veteran is on his third team in the NFL as of 2024. After getting drafted by the Washington Redskins (now Washington Commanders) in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL draft with the 102nd pick, he only got to start 9 games in his first three seasons mainly due to him being QB2 on the depth chart behind Robert Griffin III. However, he was named the starter going into the 2015 season and in his first year under center full-time, Cousins led Washington to a divisional title with a 9-7 record while throwing for 4,166 yards. While Cousins kept his elite play going in the next two years, with two more 4k yards seasons under his belt, Washington missed out on postseasons on both those occasions. After becoming a free agent in 2018, Kirk started a new chapter in his NFL career by signing a 3-year fully guaranteed $84 million contract with Minnesota Vikings. From 2018 to 2022, Kirk only had one season with less than 4k passing yards. His career-high passing touchdowns came in 2020 when he threw 35 touchdowns.

The 4-time pro bowler had his season cut off in 2023 after he tore his Achilles. The Atlanta Falcons swooped him in free agency by inking him to a 4-year contract worth $180 million in 2024. The Barrington, Illinois-born signal-caller went to Holland Christian High School before playing for Michigan State University in college. He finished his career with the Spartans by passing more than 9,000 yards and totaling 66 touchdowns.

Cousins led the game-winning drive by throwing a touchdown in overtime. However, the Divisional Round saw the San Francisco 49ers convincingly defeat Minnesota, 27-10.
