T.J. Sanders is an American football defensive tackle who the Buffalo Bills selected in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft with the 41st overall pick. Previously, he represented South Carolina in the 2024 season. Sanders attended Marion High School in Marion, South Carolina, where he began his football journey. He played for the South Carolina Gamecocks from 2021 to 2024, taking the field 39 times during those four years. Sanders needed to wait a year to get the opportunity to play a full season, as he appeared in only two games during his freshman year.
Following that, Sanders went on to play double-digit games in each of his next three years. Sanders’ best year came in 2023, when he put up career-high numbers in three different defensive metrics: tackles for loss (10), sacks (4.5), and pass deflections (4).
