When does the NFL playoff start?

The NFL playoff consists of three rounds before the two best teams face off in the Super Bowl. Six teams from each conference first meet in the Wild Card round. The No. 1 seed will get the by and directly play in the divisional round.

The winners of the wild card round will qualify for the divisional round. And the winners in the divisional round will face each other in the AFC and NFC conference championship games. The winners of each of the conferences, NFC and AFC, will eventually meet in the Super Bowl.

The Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs will begin on Saturday, 13 January 2024 through Monday, 15 January 2024. The divisional round will be taking place the following week, on Saturday, 20 January 2024 and Sunday, 21 January 2024.

The AFC and NFC conference championships will take place on Sunday, 28 January 2024. There will be a gap of two weeks for the winners of the AFC and NFC to prepare for the Super Bowl.

The final hunt for the Lombardi Trophy, the Super Bowl, will take place on Sunday, 11 February 2024 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

How long is halftime in NFL playoffs?

The halftime during the regular season games in the NFL is around 12-13 minutes. This takes place after the end of the second quarter and before the start of the third quarter. The halftime break will give the teams a short breather to reevaluate their game plans, to collect themselves and finish the job in the second half of the game.

The halftime is also an opportunity for the fans to grab some drinks, foods and snacks before the second half, which is usually the most entertaining part of the game.

This brings us to the real question of how long will the halftime be during the NFL Playoffs?

While the general misconception among the fans is to expect a longer duration of halftime during the NFL playoffs, it is not quite true. The halftime during the NFL playoffs is the same as the regular season - 12-13 minutes.

However, fans can expect a longer halftime during the superbowl. There will be different artists performing during the halftime of arguably the biggest sporting event in the sports calendar. The halftime in the Super Bowl is generally around 30 minutes.
