Emma Navarro is a young tennis sensation from America who achieved the career-high ranking of No. 8 in September 2024. 2021 NCAA Singles Champion, Navarro won her maiden 2024 Hobart International Open, defeating Elise Mertens in the final. Ben or Benjamin Navarro is the father of Emma Navarro. He is the founder of the Sherman Financial Group. The company became one of the biggest credit card issuing companies in the United States. He is the son of football coach Frank Navarro and completed his graduation in finance in 1984 from the University of Rhode Island.

Navarro also invested his fund in Beemok Hospitality Collection, which includes Charleston Palace, in 2021. He tried to purchase the Carolina Panthers but lost the bid to David Tepper in 2018. He is the former vice president of Citigroup.

Ben Navarro is the owner of two famous tennis tournaments, namely the Cincinnati Open and the Charleston Open. He helped in the renovation of the stadium Credit One. During his interview with Post and Courier, he shared that tennis has helped his children learn work ethic, handling defeat, disappointment, struggle, and friendship. He is also a philanthropist who donated around $1.25 million to support the College of Charleston in 2021.
