What’s the story?

WWE Hall of Famer Madusa revealed on Instagram that she underwent a knee replacement surgery. She posted a video of herself at the hospital as you can see below.

In case you did not know…

Also known as Alundra Blayze, Madusa is one of the most iconic women in the history of professional wrestling.

She was infamous for throwing the WWF Women’s championship into a trash can while she was on live WCW television, one of the biggest sparks for the Monday Night Wars.

The heart of the matter

In the latest video posted on her Instagram account, Madusa revealed that she underwent knee replacement surgery. The video received some warm comments from the wrestling fans. The fans showered the comment section with their wishes and some even went on to compliment her looks.

What’s next?

Madusa retired from in-ring competition back in 2000 but she has been associated with the wrestling business in one way or the other after this.

Her most recent project came this year when she was a part of the Mae Young Classic. Madusa filmed some backstage interviews for the tournament and she was also seen previewing the show on a couple of podcasts alongside fellow WWE Hall of Famer Lita.

Author’s take

It seems like it’s the season of knee surgeries. Earlier, Kevin Nash released some photos from his knee surgery and now Madusa has done something similar.

The knee surgeries that these legends undergo shows how banged up their bodies are after a long wrestling career. This once again stresses the fact that professional wrestlers deserve a lot of respect for what they are doing.
