She got into ice hockey after watching the “MVP” trilogy about collegiate hockey. A fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs because of their strong offensive lineup, Anjum also likes the Washington Capitals. Her favorite player is Alex Ovechkin for his legendary one-timers. Ovechkin reaching 800 career goals with a hat trick as the Chicago (away) crowd screamed “Ovi, Ovi” is the most iconic NHL moment for Anjum.

She is a self-taught musician, loves silversmithing and can be found at her workbench if she’s not watching or writing about sports.
