Charles Leclerc was found helpless after his new pet puppy, Leo, littered the paddock at the 2024 F1 Imola GP. Since the Monegasque did not have any plastic bags, he was unable to pick up the litter.

In April 2024, Leclerc revealed that he got a new pet puppy with his partner, Alexandra Saint-Mleux. He posted adorable pictures of the pup, melting the hearts of many fans. Soon enough Leo started attending Grand Prix and had his very own paddock pass.

He also attended Imola GP, where Charles Leclerc bagged another podium finish after securing third place. After the race, Leclerc was heading home with Leo when the puppy littered. At that moment, the Ferrari driver had no plastic bag to pick up his pet's waste.

His teammate Carlos Sainz recorded Leclerc awkwardly standing in front of the litter, not knowing what to do. The Monegasque then bent down and said to Leo that he should not litter the paddock like that. Sainz later posted the clip on his official Instagram stories. The clip was taken and circulated on X as well.

"I don't have the plastic bag...Leo, not in the middle of the paddock! Hey!" Leclerc said.

Later on, a Ferrari staff member, Pedro, came with two paper cups from the hospitality area and picked up the litter for Leclerc. The Ferrari driver wholeheartedly thanked the team member for his gesture. Sainz hilariously stated that picking up the litter must be Leclerc's job.

"Pedro! This should be Charles' job!" Sainz humorously added.

Charles Leclerc apologizes for not meeting fans after the 2024 F1 Imola GP

After the 2024 F1 Imola GP, Charles Leclerc recorded a recap video for Ferrari's social media X and Instagram accounts. While speaking about the race weekend, he also apologized to the fans for not visiting the pitlane after the race since the post-race press conference took a lot of time. During that time, Leclerc was also holding his pet puppy, Leo.

"P3 today. First of all I would like to start with something, I'm sorry that I could not come out in the pit and say hello to all of you guys. We finished late, the press conference, and I could not thank you for the whole support the whole weekend," Leclerc said.

Both the Ferrari drivers looked strong at Imola's practice sessions. However, Red Bull's Max Verstappen unleashed his performance and bagged the pole position and race win at the end. Charles Leclerc qualified P4 and secured P3 at Imola, behind race winner Verstappen and McLaren's Lando Norris.
