Ryan Garcia discusses how Cristiano Ronaldo and Turki Alalshikh helped him during Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury fight

Boxing star Ryan Garcia has shared an interesting anecdote from his time at the highly anticipated heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk on May 18. The 25-year-old was in attendance at the event which was held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During his time there, Garcia interacted with several prominent figures including Turki Alalshikh and global sports star Cristiano Ronaldo. 'KingRy' recently took to social media to share a humorous story that featured both the aforementioned individuals.

Garcia shared that he lost his mobile phone on multiple occasions on the night of the fight. According to the 25-year-old, Ronaldo helped him in finding it for the first time. The second time, it was Turki Alalshikh himself who stumbled upon Garcia's lost phone in the arena.

In a tweet, Garcia wrote:

"Lost my phone and Cristiano Ronaldo had found it. And then lost it again and then Turki Alalshikh had stumbled upon it. You can't make this up."

Prior to the undisputed heavyweight championship fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, Ryan Garcia spoke to DAZN and weighed in on the matchup.

'KingRy' predicted for the fight to go the 12-round distance and picked 'The Gypsy King' to emerge as the victor. He said:

"It's gonna be a 12-round decision, it's gonna be a very close fight. But I think Fury is just too good, and I love Fury. He's got that energy in him, he looks great. Usyk - hell of a fighter. Fury is the man, I think he's the best heavyweight of all time."

Garcia's prediction was partially true, as the fight did go the 12-round distance. But the 25-year-old failed to pick the correct winner for the showdown.

The bout was a razor-close affair that ended in a split decision victory for Usyk. The three judges scored the contest 115-112, 113-114 and 114-113, with two judges ruling Usyk as the victor.

With the victory, Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999. 'The Cat' also became the sole fighter to defeat Fury in a professional boxing fight.
