Starting of with an easy one.

Question 1

X, born on 1896, was a Spanish fascist. During the Spanish Civil War he fought on the side of the fascists as a soldier under the general Agustín Muñoz Grandes. He was in mien an avid sportsman. He endeavoured to build a stadium for his side, which was then remarked as being “too much of a stadium for so little a club”. In 2002 he was posthumously awarded the FIFA Order of Merit, the highest honour from Fifa for his significant contribution to association football which is bearing his epic football legacy still.

His first visit to the newly-founded Irish Free State drove him to get fell in love with the country, specially with Connemara which was a Southern State of Ireland. And later he fondly advocated Ireland as a tourist destination, boosting the fledgling state at a difficult time in Irish history. He was loved by the local community and each year they marked his arrival with great celebration, lighting bonfires and placing fire crackers on the railway line to announce his arrival. To commemorate his promotion of Irish-Indian relations, an eventful competitive cricket match was held on 2009 between an Irish XI & Indian XI residing in Ireland & this incident is still continuing its tradition every year. The event forms part of the calendar of the recently established South Asia Initiative at Trinity College Dublin. And this match is now going to be part of the Irish cricket calendar.

The original 50 guineas (somewhere close to $150) silver item made in 1864 by Messrs Elkington and Co. Ltd. of Birmingham. It is a copy of an electrotype by Caspar Enderlein, which was also a copy of Temperantia Dish, featuring allegorical figure of Temperance or Temperantia, which François Briot made with pewter in 1585–90. It is decorated as in the middle is the figure of Sophrosyne (Sophrosyne, found in the writings of Ancient Greece, especially that of Plato, is a Greek philosophical term meaning moral sanity, self control, moderation. Here it is a personification of temperance and moderation) seated on a chest with a lamp in her right hand and a jug in her left. There are other attributes around her, such as a sickle, fork and caduceus. Around this center are four reserves each containing a classical god, together with elements. There are seven reserves around the plate inside the outer rim showing Minerva presiding over the seven Liberal Arts: Astrology, Geometry, Arithmetic, Music, Rhetoric, Dialectic and Grammar, each with the relevant attribute.

Henry John _____ was world champion racquets Player of England and Professional at St. Johns College Cambridge. Not only he but his siblings carried various records in this game. In 1855 he started a family business at St Johns College Racquet Courts in Cambridge forming a company named “H.J._____ and Sons”. The company soon built a reputation supplying rackets to many famous University players. Other side, Mr L.J.______, a village carpenter, decided to make a new thing of his own kind for himself & soon made the things for his friends and his reputation grew. In 1876 he started making it in his workshop in a sleepy village of Robertsbridge, East Sussex. In 1940 under the Concentration of Industries Scheme, an association was formed between “L. J.______ “ and “H. J.______& Sons of Cambridge” & soon purchased famous brands along with two firms-“Shaw & Shrewsbury Sports Co. of Nottingham” & “Wainwrights”.
