Mumbai Marathon- 2010

January 17th 2010, Sunday, whole Mumbai was geared up for Marathon. Inspired by the spirit of Mumbai Marathon- “Everyone Wins Here”, whole Mumbai was ready to run. Apart from international athletes, many national athletes and well known faces from entertainment field as well as from corporate participated in Marathon.

RESULTS:As usual Kenyans continued their domination in the Mumbai Marathon.

Dennis Ndiso won the $310,000 Mumbai Marathon clocking a time of 2 : 12 : 34 . Followed by Siraj Gena frm Ethiopia who clocked 2 :13: 58 . Kenya’s Samson came third completing the race in 2 hours 14 minutes 24 seconds

Binning Lymgkhoi was the Indian to finish , clocking 2:20:12. Followed by Ram Singh Yadav (2:21:02) and Arvind Yadav (2:22:50), respectively.

Sandeep Kumar won the Men’s half marathon 2010.

On Sunday Bandra-Worli Sea Link was worth watching as it was overcrowded by inspired athletics from all over the world and from all age group, running for cause. Awesome spirit.
