Ja Morant is currently suspended for showing a gun on Instagram Live. Last Saturday, he decided to go live while out having a good time at a nightclub and appeared in the video having fun with his pals and fans on Instagram while flashing a gun in the process.

The NBA had no choice but to suspend him for at least a couple of games as a result of his unacceptable actions. The incident is now trending on social media and in the world of sports.

It appears that the magnitude of Morant's actions was great enough to have other athletes outside of basketball talking about him. NBA Central reposted on Twitter a TikTok video uploaded by Raw Room featuring some NFL players taking shots at the Grizzlies star.

The football bunch teased Morant and called him out for trying to act like a gangster. They think that the point guard should take it easy with his actions and tone down his personality. They said:

"They say your boy trynna be Larry Hoover man. He needs to chill."

Ja Morant has been receiving a lot of heat as of late. He was just recently accused of hitting a 17-year-old repeatedly after a pickup game, which took place last summer.

Now he's dealing with the repercussions of his actions for flashing a gun on Instagram Live on Saturday. However, as bad as his situation may be, Morant is taking full responsibility for everything and admitting to his faults.

The player immediately made a statement after hearing the news about his two-game suspension from the NBA and apologized to his family, the league, his team, the fans, and the organization.

He's fully aware that he has let everyone down and will use his suspension to take some time off and reflect on what he has to do to become better. He said:

"I take full responsibilty for my actions last night [Saturday]," Morant stated. "I'm sorry to my family, teammates, coaches, fans, partners, the city of Memphis and the entire Grizzlies organization for letting you down. I'm going to take some time away to get help and work on learning better methods of dealing with stress and my overall well-being."

While this could hurt his reputation as a player, Memphis is certainly hoping that Ja Morant will come back strong as they approach the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
