Steph Curry has been doing his best to lead the Golden State Warriors this season, but so far, it hasn't translated to a winning record. NBA analyst Joe Shasky recently shared how disappointed he is with the team's struggles.
The Warriors (4-7), who started 18-2 en route to winning the NBA last season, are 12th in the Western Conference. Coming into the season, people expected Golden State to have an incredible season. But that hasn't been the case.
"The team I'm watching right now, looks spiritually broken. That's what it looks like to me," Shasky said. "They look like one guy, Steph Curry and a little bit on (Andrew) Wiggins, are dragging them and carrying them. ... They just look very broken and old and discombobulated.
"Whether it's offensive flow, whether it's defensive assignments, whether it's chemistry, it looks broken."
Curry is the only player performing well. At 32.6 points per game, Curry is the only one averaging more than 20 points per game. Andrew Wiggins is the second-leading at 18.2 ppg.
Both Klay Thompson (15.1 ppg) and Jordan Poole (15.2 ppg) are expected to have impactful seasons. But throughout their first 11 games, both perimeter players haven't made any noise. Their defensive leader, Draymond Green, has never been the best scoring option, but he's averaging 9.1 ppg to try and turn things around.
Curry won't be able to keep carrying his team for the entire season. Someone has to step up big time and help the 2021 Finals MVP to change the situation in Golden State.

Why is Steph Curry doing all the work for the Warriors?
Steph Curry has been on a scoring rampage since the 77th NBA season started. By averaging over 32.6 ppg, he's been able to keep the Warriors from falling to the bottom of the standings. However, their current rankings aren't doing them any good, either.
On paper, Golden State has a decent squad it was able to construct over the summer. Additionally, this is a season when people expect Poole to take a leap in the scoring department. While he's been able to pull up 15.2 ppg off the bench, Poole hasn't been efficient, only making 30.1% of his 3-pointers.
Klay Thompson, who's coming off an ACL rehab, has started the season slowly. Thompson's frustrations have affected the team's success. The four-time champ was even ejected after he got into a verbal exchange with Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns.
