Reggie Jackson Injury Update: Latest on Nuggets guard's status for Game 4 vs Lakers (April 27)

Reggie Jackson is listed as questionable on the injury report as the Denver Nuggets face the LA Lakers for Game 4 of the first-round playoff series in Los Angeles on Saturday. His involvement in the contest will be a game-time decision.

The Nuggets being 3-0 in the series will give Jackson some time to recover, even if he is not able to suit up for the upcoming game. However, the Nuggets are highly anticipated to sweep the Lakers, which will likely give Jackson a few days of rest before he is needed to suit up for Round 2 of the playoffs.

What happened to Reggie Jackson?

The Nuggets guard suffered an ankle injury in their Game 3 victory over the LA Lakers on Thursday. Jackson sustained the injury after landing on Anthony Davis' foot while fighting for a rebound with under a minute to go in the first quarter.

Moments after the incident, Jackson limped off the floor and headed towards the Nuggets locker room, supported by a teammate and the Nuggets staff. He reappeared on the Nuggets bench in the fourth quarter with his leg wrapped up.

The next day after the game, Jackson was seen using crutches and a walking boot to get around.

Jackson has won all four postseason games against the Lakers. Three of the games are in the present series, as well as Game 2 of the Nuggets-Lakers 2023 Eastern Conference finals, which the Nuggets swept.
