All the doubts and questions about the venue of IPL 2019 came to a halt after BCCI's announcement that the annual tournament will be held in India.

There were some serious concerns about the venue of the tournament because of the General elections, which are supposed to be held at the same time. The IPL governing council was considering other countries like South Africa and U.A.E, both of which have hosted IPL previously, to host the mega-event.

The franchises too were getting restless because of the uncertainty looming over the venue as they were finding it difficult to get their preparations underway without any confirmation about the venue. Thus, BCCI's announcement comes as a huge relief for the fans and IPL teams.

Even though almost all the teams will be mighty pleased with this decision, there are some teams that will be rejoicing more than the others.

The team combinations of these teams are best suited for Indian conditions and they will be more comfortable with the tournament being held in India.

Here are the three teams that will be most benefited by IPL being held in India.

#3 Kings XI Punjab

Ashwin and Mujeeb will be more than happy to be bowling on Indian pitches

Kings XI Punjab spent huge bucks at the auction to get the mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy in the side. The Tamil Nadu spinner would surely not be that effective if the tournament was held in some other country. Kings also have Ravichandran Ashwin and Mujeeb Ur Rahman in the side who are extremely effective on Indian pitches.

On the batting front, Kings have a relatively inexperienced batting line-up and their young batsmen like Sarfaraz Khan and Prabhsimran Singh might be more confident playing in conditions that are familiar to them.

Other senior batsmen like Chris Gayle, David Miller, KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Karun Nair, and Mandeep Singh have a good record playing in India and thus Kings won't be complaining much about the tournament being held in India.

#2 Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders surprised a lot of people with their performance last year. Despite not having too many big names, especially in the batting department, they reached the playoffs. The reason behind their success last season was the strategy from the team's think tank. KKR rely heavily on Sunil Narine, Kuldeep Yadav, and Piyush Chawla. The spin trio has been sensational for the franchise over the years with their ability to spin a web on the opposition team's batsmen.

Also, KKR has a lot of youngsters in their side. The likes of Nitish Rana and Shubman Gill were exceptional for the team last year and they will be more comfortable playing in Indian conditions than they would have been playing in South Africa or U.A.E. Captain Dinesh Karthik and Robin Uthappa's years of experience playing in Indian conditions will also come in handy.

Now that the tournament is to be staged in India, KKR will fancy it's chances in IPL 2019.

Experience of playing in Indian conditions will come in handy for CSK
Experience of playing in Indian conditions will come in handy for CSK

There are absolutely no doubts about the fact that MS Dhoni loves playing in Indian conditions as he is the master of using spinners on the slow Indian pitches.

CSK is packed with spinners with the likes of Harbhajan Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Karn Sharma, Imran Tahir and Mitchell Santner in the side. Also, CSK's pace department is not their strongest suit and thus they will be more than happy to play in India.

One of the major reasons for their title victory was the fact that most of the CSK players had loads of experience playing in Indian conditions which they used to their advantage. Moreover, the likes of Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu, who are the team's batting mainstay, are susceptible to pace bowling and thus they would prefer playing in India.

With the tournament being held in India, CSK can be expected to extend their IPL dominance in 2019.
