We are in the 11th season of the IPL and once again we are witnessing some great batting by the Indian future stars. Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Karun Nair and many other youngsters have showcased their talent in the IPL. Every year we have some new Indian talent coming up through the IPL. This year is no different; we have seen some great knocks by some of the young Indian uncapped players.

So let’s have a look at the Top 3 Uncapped Indian batsmen in this season so far.

#3 Ishan Kishan (MI)

Ishan Kishan was the U-19 Captain in the 2016 U-19 World Cup. India was runners-up in the World Cup. Ishan Kishan is a wicket-keeper batsman from Jharkhand. Last year he played for Gujrat Lions He was bought by Mumbai Indians in the auction for 6.2 Crore. He has been in brilliant touch this IPL season. He has scored 151 runs in 6 innings so far, at a strike rate of 141.12. He has scored some crucial runs up at the top alongside Suryakumar Yadav.

The thing that stood about him is that even after suffering from a nasty injury against RCB, he came in the next match and scored an important 50. His style of attacking cricket suits this format perfectly. MI will be hoping that he continues his good form as they are languishing in the bottom half of the table.

Nitish Rana was with Mumbai Indians until the last year. KKR bought him for 3.4 Crore in the auction. He was brilliant for MI in the last season for the first half and then just tailed off a bit. He even lost his place to Ambati Rayudu in the playoffs. He is one of those players who will play according to the situation. If the situation demands to go from ball one then he is more than capable of doing that. He has scored 165 runs in 6 innings at an average 33. He has won 2 Man of the Match awards for KKR this year. He is even chipping in with some crucial overs and getting some important breakthroughs.

Nitish Rana has definitely been a great buy for KKR this season and he is one of the future Indian stars.

#1 Suryakumar Yadav (MI)

MI is really struggling at the bottom of the table this year. But one of the positives for MI has been the form of Suryakumar Yadav. Suryakumar Yadav was with KKR until last year. He was bought by MI in the auction for 3.2 Crore. He can bat wherever the team wants. He will come as a floater, he can open the batting, he can be the finisher or he can even play the anchor role in the middle of an innings.

This season has been his best as far as run making is concerned. He has scored 230 runs in just 6 innings with 2 crucial 50s to his name. He is currently 5th on the top run-getters list. He has always been a good player but just didn’t get enough opportunities to bat with KKR. In MI he has got it and capitalized on it. He will be hoping that he continues his good form and help his team win some matches.
