Bollywood actor Sohail Khan has joined hands with Dubai-based Business tycoon and owner of Pacific Ventures, Mr. Parvez Khan to become the co-owner of Capricorn Commanders in the Masters Champions League. The Capricorn Commanders also confirmed that Michael Vaughan will be the director-cum-player of the side.
Michael Vaughan, the former English Captain was picked by the Commanders in the pre-auction who also took part in the regular auction of the players to set up the team will now not only act as a player but also a director of the team.
Michael Vaughan who known for his captaincy and leadership skills will now be the head coach of the team and will be joined by Usman Afzal, as an assistant coach.
Vaughan has been a celebrated cricketer as his records show. He captained his country in 51 matches and won 26 out of them, which in itself is a national record. He led England to one of the most memorable Ashes win in recent memory when his side beat Australia 2-1 in 2005.
Vaughan and Usman’s partnership will be a great asset to the Capricorn Commanders as they enter the one-of-a-kind tournament meant for retired cricketers.

The tournament, which drew some inspiration from the Cricket All-Stars by Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne. Capricorn Commanders will compete with five other teams, all of which include some of the greatest players the sport has ever seen.
Parvez also informed that the management will soon announce the captain and the vice-captain. The Capricorn Commanders stand tall with players like Andrew Symonds, Abdul Razzaq, former England skipper Paul Collingwood, Chamara Silva and Ashwell Prince among their ranks.
The tournament kicks off on January 28th and will go on till February 13th in Dubai and Sharjah Cricket Stadiums and several Indian cricketers, like Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag will take part in the tournament.
