ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up matches: Schedule, venues and timings in IST

The schedule for the warm-up matches of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 was announced on Thursday, May 16. A total of 16 warm-up matches will be played between May 27 and June 1 across the USA and Trinidad and Tobago.

The venues that will host the practice games ahead of the T20 World Cup include Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen’s Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

As per an official release on the ICC website, a total of 17 teams will play warm-up matches. One of them, South Africa, will feature in an intra-squad match on May 29 in Florida.

"These warm-up fixtures will be 20 overs per side and will not have international T20 status, allowing teams to field all members of their 15-player squad," the ICC release stated.

The game between West Indies and Australia to be played at the Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad and Tobago on May 30 will be open to fans.
