The defending champions Mumbai have won the Ranji Trophy finals defeating Karnataka by 6 runs. A very closely fought match. The 39th Ranji Trophy final was played at the Gangotri Glades cricekt gorund.
Karnataka failed to chase 338 runs and were bowled out for 331 , losing by 6 runs. Ajit Agarkar claimed 5 wickets for 81 runs. Manish Pandey's 144 was not able to help Karnataka.
