Ravindra Jadeja became the first Indian bowler since 1996 to be ranked no.1 in ODI cricket.

The feat makes Jadeja the first Indian since Anil Kumble in December 1996 to hold the top position. Overall, the Saurasthra all-rounder is the fourth Indian bowler after Kapil Dev (March 1989), Maninder Singh (December 1987-November 1988) and Kumble to claim the number-one spot.
