Video: Kapil Dev "Mankades" Kirsten in 1992, a rare type of dissmissal

If you are run out by backing very far away from the crease before the ball is bowled, this type of dismissal is named "Mankaded" after the Indian cricketer Vinoo Mankad who was the first bowler to dismiss a batsman in that way.

Kapil Dev became only the second bowler in one-day cricket to do so. A total of 6 batsman have been given out “Mankaded” before Buttler’s incident. Peter Kirsten after being given out “Mankaded” here, was very angry at the bowler and the umpire. He was later fined for showing his frustration on them.
