Virat Kohli calls for more support ahead of the Sri Lanka series

Kohli will lead India in the 3-match series

Indian Test captain Virat Kohli has called for more support from the fans ahead of the team’s tour to Sri Lanka next month where they would be playing 3 Test matches. In a very short vine clip uploaded by the BCCI on their Twitter account, you can see the 26-year-old asking the fans to follow the side on bcci.tv and at the same time calling out for more support for the Test matches in the island nation.

Kohli also made a clear statement by making himself available to play the second unofficial Test between India ‘A’ and Australia ‘A’ at Chennai in order to prepare himself for this series at a place where India haven’t won a Test series in more than two decades.

Earlier yesterday, the BCCI also announced the squad for the tour via a vine with each player present in the squad appearing on it for a second including comeback man Amit Mishra.
