Company of Heroes 2 gets new update that includes Mod Tools & Observer Mode

SEGA and Relic Entertainment have launched a new update for Company of Heroes 2. This new update includes two new features to the game, Observer Mode and Mod Tools. In Observer Mode, players can sync up and watch live multiplayer matches as they progress in the game.

The Observer Mode makes the players view the game from multiple angles, at different speeds, player perspectives and also grants access to live data that wasn’t accessible before. This new mode allows the players to watch and learn new strategic opportunities from different players around the world. The players will also have access to twitch to show their skills off to a much broader audience. The Observer mode features include:

• More than 500 concurrent viewers per live match
• The ability to scale up to tens of thousands for special events
• The ability to turn off UI for a more cinematic mode
• Information is now easily displayed to quickly find the right match
• Live-casting permission can now be turned on or off
• A delay slider (0 to 15 minutes)
• A password option to bypass delay
• Units and Production
• Commander Trees, Commander abilities and cooldowns
• Resources
• You have the ability to invite other users to the party
• Helps to stay in synch and keep casting teams together

The Mod Tools gives the players option to modify existing content to refine the game experience to their liking. This tools will surely help the modding community with more opportunities, to create their own custom content. This Mod Tools is one of the eagerly awaited feature for this game.
