DotEmu, the game developer who has given the modern releases for our beloved retro games has announced the 1998 psychological horror point-and-click adventure game Sanitarium is available for purchase on Steam. Sanitarium was originally released back in 1998 for Microsoft Windows and was awarded as the Adventure Game of the Year. The new version of the game includes features like Steam Cloud and achievements.

The players take the role of Max Laughton, an amnesiac who after a car accident wakes up in an asylum with his head wrapped in bandages. By solving the puzzles and progressing furthur in the story the players will get to know how they escape. The game is described as,
