Manchester United’s Ashley Young gives a perfect example of how to not take a throw in during their match against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Young has recently been converted as a wing-back/full-back and although he is not used to taking throw-ins, should still be able to just swing the ball above his head with his hands and give it to one of his teammates.
The English international, however, looked confused while taking this particular throw and hesitated a bit before the ball slipped out of his hand and directly into Spurs’ Benjamin Stambouli’s path. Young was himself left shocked at the throw and took a long time to react to his blunder.
